You are considering a very rare ancient Byzantine highly decorated pottery oil lamp with a high curved handle and inscription all around the body related to Magic, dated from, 6th AD Flat base in the shape of a pointed oval of the lamp. Decorative patterns composed of lines cover the upper part of the lamp while the base show a large branch with inscriptions on both sides.
Baggatti(1970) believed that the handle terminated in a horse's head suggested a relation with the Lurestan bronzes.
