Burnished pottery spindle-shaped body, long cylindrical ridged neck, flat out-turned broad rim, flat handle from neck to shoulder, splaying base.
Dark brown to blacl smooth burnished suface.
During the Late Bronze Age little jugs, known, as "Bil-bils" were importaed into Canaan.
They have been discovered at various sites in Israel. Lachish, Jerusalem, and Gezer, mostly in funerary contexts.
