RARE- AN AMLASH TERRACOTTA HUMP-BACKED BULL RHYTON
10TH-8TH CENTURY B.C. 


The HUGE stunning hollow burnished zoomorphic vessel with prominent rump and neck hump, the muzzle extending into a long spout, with curved horns and punched circular incised eyes, with vertical ridges for the dewlap and tail, on four tapering legs.

Length: 38 cm

Condition: One leg and two horns has been re-attached, tip of horn is missing with some repair at the spout as shown
