We are pleased to offer this important and very rare ancient biblical Iron Age pottery figure of an Astarte "Fertility/ Mother Goddess"

Dated from, Dated from, 1000 - 586 BC "Time of the Kings of ancient Israel

The general consensus appears to be that the pillar figurines probably represent some form of "Mother Goddess" personifying fertility, possibly the goddess Astarte of the Canaanites, sidonians, and Philistines
